Field Hockey Collects 18th Consecutive National Academic Team Award

2023 Division III National Team Academic Awards Announced

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College field hockey team has earned the 2023 National Academic Team Award for the 18th consecutive season. This honor is bestowed upon programs that have achieved a remarkable team grade-point average of 3.5 or higher during the fall semester of the current academic year. In total, 61 Division III programs earned the 2023 edition of the award.

Earlier this week, a program record six student-athletes were named NFHCA Scholars of Distinction, with that award going to Anna Bradley, Amelia Bredbenner, Louisa Coughlin, Zora Dallmann, Erica Pardón, and Ileana Rodriguez. Bradley earns the distinction for a fourth time, the first four-time honoree in program history, while the other honorees are first-time recipients of the award.

Last week, 21 members of the Haverford program were named to the Division III National Academic Squad: Brynn Bickel, Anna Bradley, Amelia Bredbenner, Louisa Coughlin, Allison Cubell, Zora Dallmann, Lindsey Darby, Zoey Despines, Kendall Fleet, Clare Fleming, Caroline Frost, Anna Keneally, Amy Kim, Vy Le, Rachel Marlin, Margaret Martin, Erica Pardón, Ileana Rodriguez, Abigail Trapp, Holly Vincent, and Naomi York.
