LANCASTER, Pa. – Goalie Joe Banno was selected as the Centennial Conference men's lacrosse defensive player of the week, for the week ending April 10.

In a 6-5 win over Muhlenberg at Swan Field Wednesday night, Banno turned in a tremendous performance by stopping 19 shots, tying his season high. He turned aside eight shots in the first quarter and helped secure the win with five more saves in the fourth. He added a pair of ground balls.

Banno is currently the conference leader in save percentage (.662) and saves per game (13.73).

Haverford (8-3, 3-2 CC) visits Franklin & Marshall College in a Centennial Conference showdown Saturday, April 16 at 7 p.m.
