LANCASTER, Pa. – The Centennial Conference has named Haverford College's Dillon Hamill its men's lacrosse defensive player of the week for the week ending March 26.
Hamill, a junior defender, registered a total of six caused turnovers and 12 ground balls during a pair of wins in which Haverford defeated Washington College, 19-10, in a mid-week game then followed with a 9-3 win over McDaniel College Saturday afternoon.
For the season Hamill has accumulated a team-high 24 caused turnovers -- no other teammate has reached double-digits -- and picked up 36 ground balls, second-most on the team after face-off specialist Robert Breckinridge's 43.
