LANCASTER, Pa. – The Centennial Conference announced on Monday afternoon that Haverford College goalkeeper Joe Banno was named the league's men's lacrosse defensive player of the week.

Banno recorded 13 saves in a key conference victory against visiting Franklin & Marshall over the weekend. He registered four saves in the pivotal fourth period allowing the Fords to rally from a one-goal deficit after three periods of action. He also helped keep the Diplomats' man-up offense scoreless in three chances.

Robby Maddux of Gettysburg College was named the offensive player of the week.
