Clay's 10-pt. week earns Centennial honor

LANCASTER, Pa. – Junior Christian Clay of the Haverford College men's lacrosse team posted a 10-point week for the Fords and has been named the Centennial Conference offensive player of the week, as announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Clay's double-digit points week came for the Fords during their 1-1 close to the regular season. He notched five goals and five assists, along with scooping seven ground balls, to drive his team-leading season totals to 49 points off 30 goals and 19 assists.

The season finale was not only a cumulative high-point for Clay -- as he scored three times and added four assists for a season-best seven points in the Fords' 10-9 win over visiting Swarthmore College -- but he also netted the game-winning goal with 67 seconds left on the clock.
