Centennial Conference release

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Kyle Buseck of the Haverford College men's lacrosse team has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team. The team features one student-athlete from each institution as selected by their head coaches.

Sportsmanship is one of the pillars of NCAA Division III and the Centennial Conference. The Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Teams recognize student-athletes who exemplify the fundamental values of respect, fairness, civility, honesty, and responsibility both on and off the field or playing surface.

Buseck waited his turn in a deep goalie lineup before stepping into the spotlight during his senior season. Playing in three games, starting two of those contests, Buseck's senior campaign was highlighted by a 15-save effort on the road against Stevens. The senior stopped 57.7% of the shots he faced in the outing against the perennial power. He logged 138:50 of playing time over his appearances this spring and finished the year with 27 saves.

Graduating from Haverford with a degree in economics, Buseck was also recently recognized as an Ambler Scholar-Athlete at Haverford. That distinction is bestowed upon senior student-athletes who maintain the 16 highest cumulative GPAs in that group. Buseck was also named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll during each of his last three seasons when he became eligible for that honor.
