HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's soccer team clinched its fourth Centennial Conference Championship in program history yesterday with a thrilling 3-2 overtime victory against Franklin & Marshall. The championship marked the third time in the last four seasons the Fords have finished first in the regular season standings and followed that up by hoisting the championship trophy on historic Walton Field.
With an automatic bid to the NCAA Tournament secured, the Fords will find out their regional opponents and site today at 1 p.m. during the NCAA Selection Show. Fans can watch the selection show on NCAA.com today at 1 p.m. through the link above where the official draw will be released for the 2018 NCAA Tournament.
Haverford will be making its seventh appearance all-time in the NCAA Tournament when play gets underway this weekend. The Fords previously made the tournament in 1976, 1977, 1980, 2012, 2015, and 2016.
