Men's Soccer Announces 2023 Schedule, Nine Home Matches at Walton Field

Full 2023 Schedule

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's soccer team will look to get back to the postseason under first-year head coach Kevin Brenner as the Fords kick off the 2023 campaign at home against MIT on Friday, September 1, 2023. The lid-lifter on the refreshed turfgrass kicks off a slate of 17 total matches, including nine at home on historic Walton Field.

The contest with MIT serves as a Labor Day Weekend prelude to what is a jam-packed September slate. The Fords take an early season road trip to Susquehanna (Sept. 5) before returning home for action at the annual Jimmy Mills Classic. The always highly anticipated two-day invitational sees the Fords facing off with a pair of NJAC foes in William Paterson (Sept. 9) and Rowan (Sept. 10).

Haverford heads to Arcadia for a challenge on Wednesday, September 13, before opening the Centennial Conference slate with a home contest against Franklin & Marshall (Sept. 16). Two road games at Stockton (Sept. 20), and Gettysburg (Sept. 23) come before a midweek clash against a formidable Muhlenberg side (Sept. 27) on Walton. Haverford closes out the first month of the regular season in Carlisle, taking on Dickinson September 30.

October opens with the Fords hosting the annual "Play with Pride" game in conjunction with the Play With Pride club and the Athletics department, as the Fords host Rutgers-Camden for that contest (Oct. 3).

Conference play resumes on October 7 at Washington College before consecutive home showdowns with McDaniel (Oct. 14) and Ursinus (Oct. 18). A two-game road swing at Johns Hopkins (Oct. 21) and Scranton (Oct. 24) sets the tone for the final playoff push, as Haverford hosts Hood Trophy rival Swarthmore on Senior Day (Oct. 28) to close out the regular season.

The Centennial Conference postseason begins on Halloween (Oct. 31) with FIrst Round action, before semifinals (Nov. 3) and the championship game (Nov. 5) at the site of the higher seed in each matchup.

All Haverford home games are streamed live via the Centennial Conference Digital Network. The digital network is also available to Centennial fans through a customized mobile app, online, and through CC streaming applications for Amazon Fire, Apple TV, Android TV and Roku devices.
