Season Notes

The Haverford men's indoor track & field team finished in the runner-up spot at the 2014 Centennial Conference championship. The Fords won six events at the meet including victories in the 4x800 and distance medley relay. Gebby Keny, Cormac Rada, Soren Rasmussen and Charlie Marquardt joined forces to set a meet record in the 4x800 with a winning time of 7 minutes, 55.59 seconds. Ainsley set two program records on the final day of the conference championship meet hosted by the Fords at the Gary Lutnick Tennis & Track Center inside Alumni Field House. The sophomore raced to a school record in the 60-meter hurdle event in the heptathlon, posting a first-place time of 8.42 seconds.

Ainsley then went on to place second in the final two events of the heptathlon, the pole vault and the 1,000-meter run, to finish with a two-day total of 4,482 points which breaks the school record he set earlier this season. Ainsley fell just short up an overall heptathlon victory but merited second-team all-conference honors in the event.

Stadler, Bregman, Marquardt, Yellets and Keny earned the opportunity to participate at the Division III indoor track and field championships. The first day of the national meet saw the distance medley relay team garner All-America status with a second-place finish in the event. Marquardt led off the relay for Haverford and was followed by Yellets, Keny and anchorman Stadler. Bregman just missed earning All-America honors in the final individual event of the day with a ninth-place finish in the 5,000.
