HAVERFORD, Pa. – The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has released its fourth weekly Division III Indoor Track and Field computer rankings. The Haverford College men's indoor track & field team climbed one spot to No. 14, the highest it's been ranked all season. The Fords collected 48.19 points in this week's poll.

Haverford began the season as the No. 16 team and then climbed up to No. 15 where it held for two weeks before peaking at No. 14 this week.

Last week, the Fords posted another impressive team performance by winning six out of 11 events in a dual meet with Widener at the Alumni Field House. Their day was highlighted by the distance medley relay team (Henry Woods, Jonathan Yellets, Liam Lynch, and Charlie Marquardt), which finished over five seconds faster than Widener with a final time of 10:00.32. That time is currently ranked first in Division III during the current indoor season.

Marquardt also competed at the FastTrack National Invite where he finished the mile run in a remarkable time of 4:02.24 (officially converted to 4:05.34 by the USTFCCCA for track size), the fifth-fastest in Division III history. For his performance, he was honored as the NCAA Division III National Athlete of the Week. The Haverford senior also ranks first in the 3000 meters after a time of 8:06.56 at the Villanova Invitational and 16th in the 800 meter distance with a time of 1:54.70 at the Seamus McElligot Invitational.

Men's indoor track & field will compete again this Saturday for the Keogh Invitational at the Alumni Field House. It will be Haverford's final event before the Centennial Conference Championships.
