HAVERFORD, PA. -- The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association has released its fifth weekly Division III Indoor Track and Field computer rankings. For the second week in a row, the Haverford College men's indoor track & field team moved up in the rankings, this time leaping four spots to No. 10.

This marks the highest Haverford has been ranked all season. In this week's poll, the Fords collected 69.15 points, up 20.96 points from last week. Haverford began the season as the No. 16 team, climbed up to No. 15 where it held for two weeks before landing at No. 14 last week, and then jumped into the top 10 this week.

The men's track team posted another impressive team performance last weekend by winning four out of 14 events in the Keogh Invitational, a meet with six other schools at the Alumni Field House. Haverford runners finished first in the 200 meters (Liam Lynch, 22.90 seconds), 4x400 relay (Lynch, Dorvil Gabriel, Zach Oji, Alex Frost; 8:29.75), 60 meter hurdles (Jeffrey Ainsley, 8.38 seconds), and triple jump (Ainsley, 13.33 meters).

Haverford also claimed five of the top eight spots in the mile run, two of the top three in the 800 meter distance, and 14 of the top 20 in the 3,000 meters.

The Haverford men's track & field team will next be seen in the Centennial Conference Indoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Ursinus from Saturday, February 27 through Sunday, February 28.
