Season Review: Men's Indoor Track & Field Finishes Another Successful Season

Season Notes: Marquardt claimed his fifth career All-American certificate at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships (Mar. 12) … The senior was named the Centennial Conference Runner of the Week three times (Feb. 1, Feb. 8, Feb. 16) … Marquardt was also named the NCAA Division III National Athlete of the Week (Feb. 16) following his performance at the FastTrack National Invite when he ran the fifth-fastest indoor mile in Division III history and second-fastest in program history (4:02.34) … The Fords finished second in the Centennial Conference Championship for the fourth year in a row … Ainsley won the conference weekly award after winning the 60m hurdles at the Collegeville Classic (Jan. 25) in a time of 8.42 … Tyler Fong was selected for the same award after racing a 4:36.25 mile at the Kutztown Invitational (Jan. 15).

Looking Ahead: In the post-Marquardt era, head coach Tom Donnnelly's team will look to compete for the Centennial Conference championship in 2016-17. Junior Henry Woods, senior Alex Frost, and sophomore Liam Lynch return, giving Haverford a trio of strong runners.
