Men's Indoor Track & Field Picks Up Eight All-Region Awards

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's indoor track and field team saw six student-athletes earn All-Region honors, including two named to accolades in multiple events, the US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced on Monday afternoon.

Earning All-Mideast region designation for the Fords were Jimmy Gorman, Peter Kurtz, Liam Lynch, Greg Morgan, Graham Peet and Henry Woods. All-Region designation is reserved for student-athletes who are ranked within the top five of an individual event in the region according to the final TFRRS results or are part of a relay team that finished in the top three in the region.

Individually, Gorman and Peet picked up the honor for their 5000m times while Woods earned All-Region for his 3000m performance. Morgan picked up the individual designation for his mile time. The Distance Medley Relay team of Morgan, Woods, Lynch and Kurtz also was named All-Region for a top three finish in the Mideast.

Woods, Peet, Gorman and Morgan all add the honor to All-Region finishes during the cross country season.
