STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Haverford College men's track & field team posted another standout performance on Saturday, with action at both the Villanova Invitational at the Ocean Breeze Complex on Staten Island, and a bit closer to home at the Collegeville Classic at Ursinus.

At the Villanova meet, the Fords earned a trio of outstanding top 10 performances in program history. The 3,000-meter run featured a fourth-place overall finish from Ryan Kredell, who crossed in 8:11.41. That time was the top among Division III entrants figures to be within the top 10 in the nation at the end of a busy day of racing across the country, and is also the third-fastest in program indoor history. Peter LaRochelle also grabbed a top 10 finish in the event, notching a significant PR of 8:27.82. Miles Colescott finished 21st in a personal-best 8:43.82. Aaron Bratt was the 25th-place finisher (8:50.10).

Another stacked Mile field saw Jamie Moreland finish second overall in 4:08.48. The time also expects to be a top 10 time in Division III thus far this season, and represents the ninth-fastest time in Haverford program history. Reza Eshghi also notched a great time and a ninth-place finish (4:14.25). Nico Tripeny was the 15th-place finisher (4:20.19).

In the 1,000-meter distance, Matt Denton logged a 15th-place performance (2:32.54) while Sammy Schindel finished 18th (2:39.17). The 800-meter grouping was paced by Reed Solomon, who took a 21st place finish (1:59.70), while Michael Franco was 24th (2:01.84).

Jory Lee finished fifth in the triple jump, improving on his personal best from earlier this season with a jump of 13.76 meters. The mark, which converts to 45 feet, 1.75 inches, is the fourth-best in Haverford indoor program history. Lee just narrowly missed the program top 10 in the long jump (6.12 meters or 20 feet, 1 inch).

At Ursinus, Haverford earned a top 10 performance in program history from Alex Reichard in the  60-meter prelims. Reichard logged a 7.28, the fifth-best performance in program history, for a seventh-seeded finish. Amon-Ra Kamit finished in 26th (7.83).

A large mile contingent was led by Micah Lachman who was the second place finisher, scoring eight crucial points for the Fords (4:25.43). Jakob Maiwald (4:27.44) finished third while Ryan Quenemoen was the 10th place finisher (4:45.91).

Tommaso Wheeler (5:04.62), Deven Abrams (5:07.19), Kieran McDonnell (5:15.05), and Xingyun Yang (5:20.64) rounded out the Haverford finishers in a crowded field of entrants.

In the 200 meters, Kinnan Abdalhamid was the 34th finisher (25.74), ahead of Vir Goyal (26.01) in 36th. Kevin Villafane (42nd, 27.55), Jonah Hoffman-Weitsman (45th, 28.41) and Matthew Ruiz (46th, 28.52) rounded out the Haverford contingent.

The 400 meter grouping featured Caesar Dai logging a top 20 finish, breaking the 60-second mark in 59.37. Leo Gordon (21st, 59.51) also broke that milestone while Ruiz finished 25th (1:03.24).

Reichard also contested the long jump, posting a mark of 4.45 meters (14 feet, 7.25 inches). The throwing group featured Cyrus Slavin and Rasaaq Shittu each competing in the shot put. Slavin logged the 18th place throw of 10.24 meters (33 feet, 7.25 inches) while Shittu added a mark of 9.6 meters (31 feet, 6 inches).
