Eaton Competes in the NYU Division III Invitational

NEW YORK, N.Y.- Ravi Eaton of the Haverford College men's indoor track and field team, ventured up to the Armory in New York, N.Y. to compete in two events at the NYU Division III Invitational.  A homecoming of sorts for the New York City native, Eaton competed in the long jump and the triple jump.

In the long jump, Eaton lept 6.21 meters (20 feet, 4.5 inches) to place 14th overall. 

The senior jumper also took part in the triple jump that consisted of six total attempts. Eaton's last attempt was his best leap of the evening, jumping 13.40 meters (45 feet, 3.75 inches). The substantial hop yielded Eaton fifth-place in the competition. 

Up next for Eaton and the rest of the Fords, is the Frank Colden Invitational at the Floy Lewis Bakes Center. The first events are slated to begin at 10 a.m.
