MEDFORD, Mass. - Haverford College jumpers Ravi Eaton and Jory Lee each competed in the triple jump at the Tufts National Qualifying Meet inside the Gantcher Field House on the campus of Tufts University Saturday afternoon.

Lee finished second overall after a bronze medal finish in the event at last weekend's Centennial Conference Championships. At Tufts, Lee cleared 13.62 meters (44 feet, 8.25 inches) in his third jump. Eaton, fresh off a gold medal in the Centennial championships, leaped 13.59 meters (44 feet, 7 inches), also in his third jump, to take third place overall.

Haverford now looks ahead to tomorrow's announcements of the NCAA Division III National Championship qualifiers, where Reza Eshghi figures to have a strong chance to represent the Fords in the mile run. The championships begin on Thursday, March 7 in Virginia Beach, Va.
