Hulleberg, Donnelly earn regional honors in men's cross country

NEW ORLEANS – Haverford College senior Anders Hulleberg and head coach Tom Donnelly were named the Mideast Region's men's runner and men's cross country coach of the year as announced by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Tuesday afternoon.

Hulleberg captured the Mideast region's individual title last Saturday, two weeks after running to the individual crown at the Centennial Conference championship meet. Paced by Hulleberg, the Fords finished in first place at both the regional and conference championships placing all five scoring runners within the top-seven finishers.

Donnelly has piloted his team to the No. 2 ranking in the most recent USTFCCCA national poll following Haverford's Centennial and Mideast championships.

The Fords will take a run at the national crown at the NCAA Division III championship this Saturday in Waverly, Iowa.
