Lancaster, Pa. – Haverford College junior runner Jordan Schilit was chosen as the Centennial Conference (CC) Runner of the Week by the league office on Tuesday afternoon.

Schilit raced to the front of the pack to capture the conference individual crown Saturday in Newville, Pa. He posted a winning time of 26:52.8 to help lead the Fords to their second-consecutive league title.

The Fords won their second league title in a row with a dominating performance Saturday placing all five scoring runners within the top six finishers. Haverford accumulated 19 points to easily outdistance runner-up Dickinson College's 46 points. Swarthmore College was third with 110 points.

The team championship is the 17th for Haverford and Schilit became the 14th Ford to win the individual Centennial title.
