USTFCCCA Poll

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's cross country team is No. 20 in the NCAA Division III National Coaches' Poll released by the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday. In the last poll, the Fords were ranked No. 19.

The Fords did not run in an event last week. Haverford ran in the Lehigh University Paul Short Invitational on Oct. 4 and finished in second place among the 40 teams in the Brown Race. The Fords had seven runners in the top 100 finishers in the race that had 341 entrants.

Head coach Tom Donnelly's squad has been ranked in every poll since week seven of the 2008 season. The Centennial Conference has four teams in the latest NCAA poll. Defending champion, Johns Hopkins, is ranked No. 13, Dickinson comes in at No. 18 and Swarthmore is slotted in the No. 34 position.

The Fords return to the course this week as they participate in the Princeton Invitational on Saturday beginning at 11 a.m.
