USTFCCCA National Coaches Poll
Mideast Regional Ranking

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford Men's Cross Country team is ranked No. 5 in the latest United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) poll, the organization announced on Wednesday afternoon.  Haverford also tops the Mideast Regional rankings for the sixth consecutive week.

Haverford received a total of 253 voting points after a bye week. The top 13 teams in the poll remained in their respective slots from a week ago as many teams were idle heading into a big weekend of competition across the national landscape.  Centennial Conference foe Dickinson moved up a spot to No. 30 in the national rankings.

The Fords also top the strong Mideast Regional ranking, followed by No. 7 Carnegie Mellon, No. 10 Johns Hopkins, No. 30 Dickinson, and Stevenson, the team receiving the most votes in the poll amongst unranked programs.

Haverford's top seven heads to Winneconne, Wis. on Saturday for the designated pre-national race at the UW-Oshkosh Kollege Town Sports Invitational on Saturday. The race is slated to begin at 11:20 a.m. eastern time and features a bevy of national contenders on a preview of the 8K course that will be used for the NCAA Division III National Championships in November.

Ranked teams joining Haverford in the Badger State on Saturday include: No. 1 North Central, No. 3 Pomona-Pitzer, No. 6 Washington-St. Louis, No. 9 Calvin, No. 11 Wartburg, No. 14 MIT, No. 15 Chicago, No. 18 Wisconsin-Stout, No. 19 Rhodes, No. 20 Wisconsin-Eau Claire, No. 20 Carleton, No. 24 Otterbein, No. 27 RIT, No. 31 Emory, No. 32 Wisconsin-Stevens Point, and No. 33 Washington and Lee.

A group of Fords is also slated to stay a bit closer to home on Saturday, heading to the Jack Saint Clair Invitational at Belmont Plateau in West Philadelphia.
