Morgan To Appear On Season Debut Of Hoopsville

Hoopsville Listen Live

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Haverford College head women's basketball coach Bobbi Morgan will be interviewed on Hoopsville, an internet radio show and podcast dedicated to Division III basketball news and views on Sunday, November 13. The show will run from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m on Sunday night. Morgan's interview is slated to start at approximately 7:40 p.m.

Hoopsville airs Sunday and Thursday nights starting in November and running through the end of the Division III basketball season. The show airs for at least two hours with archives of each show along with a separate podcast available shortly after each episode goes off the air.

During each episode of Hoopsville, founder Dave McHugh talks to coaches, players, administrators, reporters, and experts from around the country for their take on what's going on in the world of Division III basketball.

Morgan will help preview the upcoming women's basketball season, which Haverford will tip-off on Tuesday night at 7:30 p.m. in Montclair, N.J. against Montclair St.

Under the direction of Morgan, who enters her ninth season at the helm of the program, The Fords will be looking to reach the Centennial Conference Tournament for a program-record sixth consecutive season in 2016-17. Haverford is returning from a 15 win season in which the Fords finished fifth in the nation in opponent field goal percentage.

Haverford will return four of its five starters and its entire bench as the team loses only one graduating senior in Olivia Walsh. The team's leading scorer, Sierra Berkel (11.1 ppg), and third-leading scorer, Samantha Wetzel (9.5 ppg), All-Centennial Conference selections in 2016, will look to anchor the offense to postseason success.
