BRYN MAWR, Pa. -  The Haverford College women's basketball team pushed its record to 6-0 (3-0 CC) with an 84-29 victory at Bi-Co neighbor Bryn Mawr on Thursday evening, ensuring an undefeated November slate for the second consecutive season. The Fords turned away the Owls (0-5, 0-2 CC) with an 18-0 start out of the gates, eventually ending the contest on a 24-4 run in the fourth quarter. Haverford's 84 points were the fourth-most in program history.

Anna-Sophia Capizzi had a career and game-high 16 points to pace the Haverford attack. Capizzi was one of five Haverford players in double figures as Macy Goldbach (13 points), Julianna Clark (career-best 13 points), Caroline Andersen (career-best 13 points) and Megan Furch (12 points) also scored in double figures. Furch grabbed 10 rebounds to record Haverford's first double-double of the season. Maddie Gallic added four steals.

Senior guard Katie Cook recorded eight assists, eclipsing the 300-assist plateau. Cook now has 306 assists for her career and remains in sole possession of second place on the all-time Haverford leaderboard.

Haverford shot .536 on the night, the fifth-best mark in program history. The defense limited Bryn Mawr to just a 25 percent clip while forcing 16 turnovers. Bryn Mawr's 29 points were a season-low surrendered by the visitors. The Fords bench contributed 34 points, also a season-best for the unit. Haverford sank 10 three-pointers on the night, including three each from Goldbach and Clark.

Cook began the night with a trey, giving Haverford an early 3-0 lead with just under eight minutes left in the quarter after the two teams went scoreless for the first two minutes of action. The lead stretched to 18-0 and the Fords would take a 34-11 lead into the halftime break. In the second, Bryn Mawr pulled to within 20 at 36-16, but the Fords ran away with a big fourth quarter. Brendan Harrison had seven points to pace the Owls while Odinaka Oranekwu had eight rebounds for the hosts.

Haverford now returns to action on Saturday, December 1 as the Fords face off with No. 25 Gettysburg (5-1, 3-0 CC). The Bullets dropped the Fords in a closely contested Centennial Conference Championship last February and are coming off a win against Johns Hopkins on Thursday night.  The matchup at Gooding '84 Arena will be the first since that postseason meeting in Gettysburg. Game time is slated for 1 p.m. and the matchup will be followed by the Haverford men taking on the Bullets at approximately 3 p.m.
