HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford College Women's Basketball senior guard Ally Landau ( Livingston, N.J./Golda Och Academy) has been recognized as the Centennial Conference Player of the Week after a magnificent display on the hardwood against Immaculata on November 14.

In a battle with the Mighty Macs, Landau scored 31 points on a new career-high 30 field goal attempts, and grabbed 12 rebounds for a double-double to help guide the Fords to a 62-48 win.

The Livingston, N.J. native wasn't just dominating on the offensive side of the ball, she contributed defensively as well, denying two shots for a new career-high in blocks. The heroic effort saw the senior guard go four-of-nine from three-point range, and dish out five assists for good measure.

Following the impressive performance, the senior guard now leads the Centennial Conference in scoring with 20.5 points per game. The Golda Och Academy product is coming off a very decorated 2022-23 season, as she garnered First-team All-Centennial Conference, City of Basketball Love All-Area First Team, Second-team D3hoops All-Region 5, CSC Academic All-District Team, as well as claiming Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors.

This is the first honor secured by women's basketball for the 2023-24 season.

You can catch Landau and the Fords in their next matchup Tuesday, November 21, as Haverford hosts the Owls of Bryn Mawr at 6 p.m. The matchup will serve as a prelude to the Haverford men taking on Washington College, with tip-off slated for 8 p.m.
