HAVERFORD, Pa. – Senior Diana Perry of the Haverford College women's lacrosse team was named the Centennial Conference Offensive Player of the Week after scoring a career-high seven goals in the Fords' thrilling 11-10 double overtime comeback victory over the No. 4 Gettysburg College Bullets on Saturday.

It's the second time in her career that Perry has won the weekly conference accolade. She received the honor after tallying the game-winner with one second remaining at Dickinson College on April 6, 2013.

Against the Bullets, the Fords came back from deficits of 8-1 and 10-6 to win in the second overtime. After Gettysburg took a 10-6 advantage with 15:37 remaining, the senior captain scored four consecutive times to send the game into extra time. Perry scored six times in the second half with her last tally tying the game with just 18 seconds to go in regulation. The senior finished with seven of eight shots on goal reaching the back of the next. Her seven goals are tied for the second most in a game in program history and now gives her 150 in her career. She is now one of only seven players in Haverford's women's lacrosse history to reach that milestone.

Haverford's win over No. 4 Gettysburg was its first over a ranked team since defeating No. 20 Washington College 12-11 on the road during the 2013 season. It's also just the second Centennial Conference loss for Gettysburg to a team other than Franklin and Marshall since the 2002 campaign. The 11-10 win for Haverford is also the first time it beat Gettysburg since 1994.

The senior also scored a goal against No. 7 Amherst last Wednesday (Mar. 18). She has scored in nine consecutive games dating back to last season. Perry is now tied for third in the Centennial Conference with 24 goals.

Head coach Lauren Wray's squad is now 5-3 on the season and 1-0 in the Centennial Conference. The Fords wrap up the non-conference portion of their schedule at Rowan (4 p.m.) on Wednesday before traveling to McDaniel on Saturday (1 p.m.).
