HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's lacrosse team was selected as an Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches' Association (IWLCA) Academic Squad while five Fords were named to the organization's Academic Honor Roll.

The IWLCA recognized 129 Division III schools for the 2015 season. A school must have a team GPA of 3.0 or higher to earn Academic Squad honors. The organization also had a record number of student-athletes make the honor roll with 838 from 255 different institutions. To be selected to the honor roll, student-athletes must have a GPA of 3.50 or higher.

Haverford had five representatives on the honor roll, Megan Chenworth, Amanda Fleming, Annie Kelly, Elyse Adler and Brianna Robbins. Chenworth was the Centennial Conference Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete of the Year, an All-Centennial Conference second team member and was on the Centennial Conference Spring Academic Honor Roll. Fleming, Kelly and Adler also were conference academic honor roll members. Robbins was named all-conference second team after setting a career high with 23 caused turnovers. The defender also picked up 21 ground balls, her best mark in three seasons and was selected to play in the IWLCA 2015 North-South Division III Senior All-Star Game.

In 2015, the Fords went 11-8, finishing with at least 10 wins for the fourth time in six years. Haverford reached the Centennial Conference semifinals for the second time in three seasons, winning its first conference playoff game since the 2010 season. Head coach Lauren Wray's squad had four players on the all-conference team, the most since 2011 and had two 40-goal scorers for the first time in 11 years.
