Volleyball remains perfect in conference with 3-1 win at Ursinus

COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Haverford College volleyball team remained perfect in Centennial Conference play with a 3-1 (25-17, 23-25, 25-14, 25-12) victory at Ursinus College Sunday afternoon. The Fords hit .358 as a team and had three individuals with at least 10 kills.

Laura Ramos led the offensive attack with 19 kills and just two errors for a .436 hitting percentage. Kelsey Cantwell had 14 kills without committing an error. Haley Lowrance connected on 10 kills and added two service aces. Kate Comey set up the offense with 53 assists.

Caitlyn Tranquillo had 20 digs to lead Haverford's (11-12, 4-0 CC) defense. Lowrance (11) and Ramos (10) reached double-digits in digs to record double-doubles. The Fords had seven team blocks and were led by Olivia Coburn-Flynn's six. Jenine Abbassi added four.

Kristin Hanratty registered a team-high 11 kills to go along with 10 digs for Ursinus (8-12, 1-4 CC). Kim Goldberg added 10 kills for the Bears. Gabriella Galleo recorded a team-high 19 digs.

The Fords will be off until Friday when they host Franklin & Marshall College at 7 p.m. in a showdown of Centennial Conference unbeatens.
