Women's volleyball swept in final day of the Brandeis Invitational

WALTHAM, Mass. –The Haverford College women's volleyball team dropped its final two matches of the Brandeis Invitational Saturday afternoon at Brandeis University. The Fords fell to Trinity (Conn.) College 3-0 (25-20, 25-19, 25-11) and Tufts University 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-21).

In the opening match with Trinity (2-0), middle hitter Emily Mills recorded a team-high eight kills. Setter Haley Lowrance tallied 15 assists. Libero Sarah Brody was the Fords' defensive leader with 17 digs. Outside hitter Caitlyn Tranquillo, Lowrance, and Mills had seven digs each. For the Bantams, outside hitter Hannah Brickley recorded a double-double with 13 kills and 12 digs. Outside hitter Danielle Isaman recorded 11 kills.

Against Tufts (3-0) Ramos recorded 10 kills and nine digs. Tranquillo contributed a match-high 19 digs and five kills. Brody had 17 digs and Lowrance had 16 assists.
