HAVERFORD, Pa. – Senior Meg O'Day of the Haverford College volleyball team was selected to the American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) All-North Region Team. It's the second straight season that O'Day has been named to the all-region team.

Kelsey Cantwell '11, Mid-Atlantic Region honorable mention in 2010, was the last Fords' player to be named to the All-Regional team before O'Day.

Earlier this week, O'Day became just the sixth player in Centennial Conference history to receive all-conference first team honors four times. She is one of three Fords to achieve the mark, joining Jen Constantino '04 and Rebecca Salvo '10. The senior placed second in the conference in attack percentage (.359), third in kills per set (3.60), third in kills (367) and sixth in total blocks (71).

O'Day will graduate first all-time in attack percentage (.349), block assists (244), second in total blocks (337), third in points (1,841) and fourth in kills (1,533). Her banner 2014 season is one of the greatest in program history as she set program record in total blocks while her attack percentage was the third-best and her kills ranked fifth. That led her to becoming the eighth Ford to be picked as an AVCA All-American (third team).

Haverford finished the 2015 season with 20 wins before losing to McDaniel in the Centennial Conference final. It's only the second time that the team has won at least 20 matches in four straight seasons.
