HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College volleyball team welcomed back its alumnae on Sunday afternoon at Gooding '84 Arena. The match, the final competitive precursor to the start of the regular season, was followed by a postgame reception.

The matchup with the alumnae team allowed the Fords a tune-up, with a chance for first year players Madison Adore, Allison Hall, Sydney Miller and Claire Nicholas to get a feel for collegiate game action while the current squad reconnected tested their skills against former teammates.

The alumnae team participants included Sarah Brody '15, Olivia Coburn-Flynn '13, Madison Fuelling '15, Jeanna Kenney '16, Sara Rennert '16, Jordan Scolaro '13 and Olivia Walsh '15.

The Fords open up the 2017 regular season on Saturday, September 2 at the Haverford Invitational inside Gooding Arena. Haverford's first match is slated for 1:00 p.m. against Rowan before the Fords take on Stevens at 3:00 p.m.
