HAVERFORD, Pa – On Saturday afternoon, the Haverford College volleyball team hosted alumni to participate in the annual alumni match in the Gooding '84 arena. The current Haverford volleyball roster had the opportunity to challenge 12 alumni to a match in the final weekend before the start of the regular season. As the team is looking forward to the start of the regular season campaign, the alumni match provided a competitive setting where the team can build chemistry and prepare for real-match scenarios. 

After a competitive match, the current team was able to reconnect with past teammates as well as make new connections at a team tailgate. The 12 alumni that returned for the match were Sara Rennert '16, Jeanna Kenney '16, Zoe Wong '18, Amy Brooks '92, Christine Anderson '20, Izzy Schwam '22, Riley Outen '22, Sara Hunsberger '22, Elena Filograna '22, Dina Kosyagin '22, Sara Brody '15, and Kendall Otridge '23.

The Fords were selected fifth in the Centennial Conference preseason poll, and are looking to add another trip to the playoffs in the 2023 season.
