Haverford College Athletics

  • Haverford had 63 student-athletes named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll, the second most of any school in the conference
  • 25 student-athletes made the All-Centennial Conference Team
  • The Fords earned 157 points towards the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup, the fourth highest total in school history for the fall
  • Haverford was the only Centennial Conference school to qualify each of its teams for the postseason tournament
  • Men’s cross country won the Centennial Conference for the 21st time in 24 seasons
  • Men’s soccer repeated as Centennial Conference Champions, winning its third title in five seasons
  • Men’s soccer advanced to the second of the NCAA Tournament as a regional host for the second straight season
  • Men’s cross country placed 18th at the NCAA Championship, the team’s 24th consecutive appearance at the NCAA Championship and 34th appearance all-time
  • Women’s cross placed 23rd at the NCAA Championship, the team’s seventh appearance in the past eight seasons and 16th in program history

Men’s Cross Country

  • Placed 18th at the NCAA Championship
  • Henry Woods was named to the All-America team after placing 22nd
  • Went to the NCAA Championship for the 24th consecutive time
  • Placed second at the Mideast Regional

Women’s Cross Country

  • The Fords ranked as high as No. 14 in the USTFCCCA Rankings before finishing the season with a 23rd place finish at the NCAA Championship
  • Haverford finished fifth at the NCAA Mideast Regional with three All-Mideast Region performances

Men’s Soccer

  • Haverford graduated the winningest class in program history for the second straight season
  • The Fords repeated as Centennial Conference Champions with their third title in five seasons
  • Became the first team in conference history to both host and win the Centennial Conference Tournament in back-to-back seasons
  • Advanced to the second round of the NCAA Tournament before falling in penalty kicks
  • Has hosted the NCAA Regional round of the tournament in each of the past two seasons
  • Haverford has played for the Centennial Conference Championship in five of the past six seasons
  • The Fords have served as host of the Centennial Conference Tournament in three of the past four seasons by virtue of finishing with the best record during the regular season
  • Earned the NSCAA Team Academic Honor for 17th time in last 19 seasons, including each of the last 11 years
  • Sam Miller ’17 graduated tied for the program’s career record with 39 victories in goal
  • Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year – Nick Jannelli

  • Haverford earned the NSCAA Academic Team Award for the 11th straight season and 18 times in the award's 19 year history
  • Qualified for the Centennial Conference Tournament for the eighth time in the last 10 seasons
  • Has won at least 10 games in seven of the past eight seasons
  • Kathy Prescott graduated with the school record for goals against average in both a career and a single season
