Haverford Athletics

  • Haverford had the most student-athletes (118) named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll. The Fords finished with 250 Academic Honor Roll selections during the 2018-19 academic year which was the most in the conference.
  • 43 student-athletes were named to All-Centennial Conference teams.
  • Josh Moskovitz (men’s tennis) and Emma Souter (softball) were both named the Centennial Conference Player of the Year while Will Karp won his second straight Gold Glove of the Year in baseball.
  • Haverford won five of the eight Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year Awards presented: Brandon Jenkins (baseball), Ashley Sisto (softball), Ben Frost (men’s lacrosse), Kevin Yan (men’s tennis), Clara Farrehi (women’s tennis)
  • Ben Frost was also selected as Haverford’s William W. Ambler ’45 Award recipient and overall Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year across all sports
  • A total of 41 student-athletes were named All-Centennial Conference, including 15 first-team selections
  • Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team: Ethan Lee-Tyson (baseball), Phoebe May (softball), Will Fox (men’s lacrosse), Sarah Svetec (women’s lacrosse), George Jiang (men’s tennis), Ananya Prakash (women’s tennis), Oscar Huang (men’s track & field), Marisa Antinori (women’s track & field)
  • Men’s outdoor track & field and women’s outdoor track & field were represented at the NCAA Division III National Championship

  • Haverford advanced to the Centennial Conference Championship series for the eighth time during the last 13 seasons and finished the year with 20 victories
  • Head coach Dave Beccaria recorded his 400th victory on April 10 with a 7-3 victory over Ursinus
