Haverford Athletes

  • Placed 43 student-athletes on Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll
  • Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team: Kofi Kwakwa (men’s basketball), Clio Bodie (women’s basketball), Evan Hamilton (men’s indoor track & field), Allison Hacker (women’s indoor track & field)
  • Garnered 19 All-Centennial Conference honors, including 10 first-team selections
  • Katie Sullivan earned her second All-America certificate after placing eighth in the mile at the NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships
  • Women’s basketball finished first in the Centennial Conference’s regular season standings and hosted the conference tournament
  • Men’s squash won the Chaffee Cup at the College Squash Association Team Championships
  • Women’s squash finished runner-up in the “E” Division at the College Squash Association Team Championships

Men’s Basketball

  • Registered four wins, including a regular season sweep of Centennial Conference opponent Washington College and a win during the regular season finale at postseason-bound Johns Hopkins
  • Matt Sherman ’17 scored become the program’s 17th player to score 1,000 career points in his final home game against Swarthmore and finished his four-year career with 1,018 total points
  • Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team: Kofi Kwakwa
  • Centennial Conference Player of the Week: Joe Scibelli (12/12)

Women’s Basketball

  • The Fords finished the season with 19 wins overall, marking a program-record sixth straight season the team has won at least 15 games – all of which have resulted in postseason appearances
  • Finished first in the Centennial Conference during the regular, earning the right to host the conference tournament for the second time in the past four years
  • Centennial Conference Scholar-Athlete of the Year: Samantha Wetzel

  • Tate Miller represented Haverford at the College Squash Association Individual Championships in his first year at Haverford

  • Kaitlin Reese represented Haverford at the College Squash Association Individual Championships during her first year in the program

  • Went 21-17 overall for the team’s highest win total since the 2010-11 season
  • First third at the MACFA Championships, just five individual bout wins away from capturing the conference title
