Cricket tops World Bank with convincing victory in season finale

HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College cricket team closed out its spring slate with a convincing win over visiting World Bank last Sunday afternoon.

World Bank batted first and scored 170 runs in 30 overs. Haverford won the match scoring 172 runs in only 25 overs.

Haverford's Alisa Strayer took three important wickets for 35 runs and Sameep Thapa and Andriy Mshanetskyy took four and three wickets for 27 and 24 runs, respectively.

Rushil Gambhir also scored 27 runs for the Fords with Mshanetskyy scoring a match-winning 84 not out.
