PHILADELPHIA - Sophomore Nathan Vestrich-Shade of the Haverford College men's squash team capped the season by participating in the 2014 College Squash Association (CSA) Individual Championships co-hosted by the University of Pennsylvania and Drexel University over the weekend.
Vestrich-Shade competed in the Molloy Division which features players ranked 33rd or higher in the national rankings.
Vestrich-Shade's weekend of experience against top-notch competition began with an 11-7, 11-6, 12-10 loss to Princeton University's Ben Leizman. After a bye in the consolation bracket, Vestrich-Shade gave Franklin & Marshall College's Brian Henry a battle before falling 11-5, 11-2, 11-1. Henry went on to win the consolation bracket championship.
