Why did you choose Haverford?
I chose Haverford because I knew I wanted a school where academics are emphasized, but athletics also play a role in many students' lives. Also, I wanted an academic environment where students pushed each other to be the best they can without being too cut throat, both on the court and in the classroom.

What is your favorite team experience?
My favorite team experience has to be the bus ride back from Boston where we were playing the 2017 College Squash Nationals. We had just won the E division which was an amazing achievement as a team, but on the bus, which we usually ride as individuals, we were all out of our seats and already celebrating one of the biggest victories in Haverford Squash history.

Why did you choose to play a sport in college?
I knew I wanted to continue playing squash in college because I love the competitiveness of it, but also because of the support system being part of a team automatically gives you. I knew right away that I could talk to my coach or any of my teammates about any help or guidance I needed.

What does being a student-athlete mean to you?
Being a student-athlete means a lot to me as it means I dedicate much of my time to playing a sport, but I am mainly a student of the College. It teaches you to manage your time well but also to be able to motivate yourself to write that paper when all you want to do is sleep.

What advice would you give a high school student considering Haverford?
Come visit and see how amazing Haverford can be and, if you are considering playing a sport, meet the coach and chances are there will be a spot on the team for you!
