MIDDLETOWN, Conn. - The Haverford College mens' squash team (5-4), the No. 29 team in the nation entering the weekend, earned a 6-3 win over No. 36 Connecticut College (2-7) at Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon, taking down the Camels at the Rosenbaum Squash Center. In the matinee matchup at the Wesleyan Round Robin, Haverford looked strong up and down the ladder for a second win over the Camels thus far in the 2022-23 season. Haverford previously prevailed over Conn. College on November 19. The Fords earned wins at the fifth through ninth flights to help secure the victory.

At the third flight, Aaryaman Jaising looked poised in his sweep of Henry Pelletier, as he moved up a rung from the last match with the Camels in November, but still delivered a calm 11-4, 11-5, 11-6 victory over his opponent. Kai Schinaman was an anchor at the fifth flight, grabbing a thrilling back-and-forth five-game win over Noah Fish. Schinaman dropped the first and third games, taking wins in the second and fourth before an 11-9 closeout win in the fifth game to dispatch Fish.

At the sixth flight, Ben Schiltz cruised over Alex Lorenzo-Cruz (11-5, 11-7, 11-4) while John Collins fended off a tough challenge from Peter Russell, prevailing in five games with a thrilling 14-12 extra-points victory in the fifth-game win after dropping the fourth. Matt Sullivan was a four-game winner over Alexander Navarro at the eighth flight, as fended off his opponent in four games, surrendering just one point in the first game and ultimately taking a 12-10 win in the fourth to set up an 11-7 triumph in the closeout game.

Garret Fantini swept past Juan Hurtado (11-4, 11-4, 115) at the ninth flight. Noah Tunis was outlasted by Tyler Maguire at the second flight (11-8, 11-9, 15-13) while Samuel Lovejoy got the best of Quinton Crawford (11-9, 11-6, 2-1 RET). Haverford defaulted the fourth flight, with Ryan Mach taking a tally for Connecticut College.
