Three Named College Squash Association Scholar-Athletes For Men's Squash

Full College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar-Athletes Release

HAVERFORD, Pa. - The Haverford College men's squash team earned three College Squash Association (CSA) Scholar-Athlete certificates, the organization announced in a postseason awards release. The three recipients is one shy of the program record, with Haverford also having three honorees in 2022, 2021, 2016, 2015 and 2014. Haverford last had four honorees following the 2009 season.

Receiving designation for Haverford was the trio of Quinton Crawford, Peter Lehv and Ben Schiltz. Crawford earned the award for the second consecutive season, taking home the honors following 2022 in addition to this season's award.

The Scholar-Athlete Award was granted this season to varsity juniors or seniors who have played on the team throughout their college career, earned at least two varsity letters, participated in the majority of the team's matches in the top 10 of the lineup during the season, and achieved a high academic standing at their institution. For full criteria, please see here.

CSA Scholar Athletes represent the values of the association, specifically including student-athletes achieving a high level of play on court while excelling in the classroom.

Haverford finished the 2022-23 season with a 10-10 record, and the future looks extremely bright for the Fords, as some talented first years entered the lineup and did well against tough competition as Haverford tested itself against top 10 squads like Drexel and Penn this season.
