HAVERFORD, Pa. – Josh Moskovitz wrapped up his fall tennis season as the 14th-ranked player in the ITA's Atlantic South Region. The Fords' senior captain finished his junior season as the 12th-ranked singles player in the region but started his climb up the regional rankings last spring season as an unranked player.

Moskovitz earned his most recent regional ranking after going 6-1 in singles during the fall season. Starting off with a perfect 3-0 record against Division I competition at the Villanova Invitational, Moskovitz followed that up with a run to the quarterfinals at the ITA Regional Championships back in late September. In doing so, he became the first player at Haverford since All-American Kevin Caulfield '13 to reach the quarterfinal round of singles. Moskovitz also made it to the quarterfinal round of the regional doubles championship with teammate and co-captain Kevin Yan that same weekend.

Moskovitz has earned All-Centennial Conference accolades in both singles and doubles during each of his first three years at Haverford. He has been a first-team All-CC selection in singles during each of the last two seasons and added first-team doubles to his resume this past spring as well. Selected as the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year in 2016, Moskovitz has also been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll and the Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Team in each of his eligible seasons. He is also a two-time ITA Scholar-Athlete and three-time Centennial Conference Player of the Week.

Holding a career record of 37-22 in singles playing at No. 1 singles during each of the past two seasons, Moskovitz is already ranked 17th in school history in career singles wins after the fall season. He is just seven singles victories away from a top 10 spot in school history with the bulk of his matches still to come this spring. Men's tennis is scheduled to begin its spring competition schedule on Saturday, March 2 when the Fords travel to Stevens for a 12 p.m. start in Hoboken.
