HAVERFORD, Pa. – Kevin Yan has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week for the second time during his career. Fittingly enough, Yan's first player of the week honor came this same week during the 2018 season. Haverford's captain went a perfect 2-0 in singles this week and also notched a win in doubles during Haverford's Centennial Conference opening victory against Dickinson on Saturday.

Yan started his week with a three-set win against No. 38 Stevens as the Fords were just a few points shy of a victory against their nationally-ranked opponent. Yan came back on Saturday with a straight set victory against Dickinson to help the Fords start Centennial Conference play with a 5-4 victory. Yan was also a winner at No. 1 doubles alongside Josh Moskovitz during the conference opener with the Red Devils.

Haverford's junior is now leading the team with six wins in singles this spring and is 9-5 overall this season. Yan and Moskovitz have also combined for six wins in doubles for the year, including the memorable run to the quarterfinals of the ITA Regional Championships.

Men's tennis will be back at home this Tuesday for a 4 p.m. Centennial Conference match against Washington College.
