HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College men's tennis team climbed to No. 11 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association's (ITA) Atlantic South Region team rankings. In addition to Haverford's team ranking, senior co-captain Josh Moskovitz checked in at No. 13 in the ITA's Atlantic South Regional singles rankings.

As a team, Haverford is 7-5 overall on the season with a perfect 4-0 record in Centennial Conference matches. That 4-0 mark in conference ties the Fords with Johns Hopkins and Swarthmore for first place in the conference standings with three weekends remaining in the regular season. Haverford's two rivals hold the Nos. 6 and 7 rankings in the Atlantic South Region, along with the No. 23 and No. 31 national ranks. Fellow Centennial Conference foe Franklin & Marshall, a team Haverford defeated 7-2 just last weekend, is ranked No. 20 in the region.

The Fords have excelled in conference play with a 21-3 mark (87.5%) in singles to go along with a 9-3 (75%) record in doubles. Pranav Krishnan and Kevin Yan are both a perfect 4-0 in Centennial Conference singles matches this spring, while Arnav Patodia is 3-0 after missing Haverford's most recent match against Muhlenberg to allow other players to get playing experience. Yan is 8-0 overall in conference play as he and Moskovitz hold a perfect 4-0 mark in Centennial doubles at the top of the lineup.

Moskovitz jumped into the regional rankings early with a trip to the quarterfinals during the fall championships and is currently leading Haverford with 13 singles wins overall. He is 3-1 in conference singles matches and currently riding a three-match winning streak overall. Moskovitz's victories this spring include a straight set win against NYU's Vishal Walia, who is ranked No. 50 in singles nationally. He is currently the third-highest ranked player in the Centennial Conference in singles and will have his chance to climb the rankings with matches against Johns Hopkins and Swarthmore still on the horizon.

Men's tennis will resume its schedule this Saturday with a home doubleheader against Southern Virginia and McDaniel. Southern Virginia is currently ranked 17th as a team in the regional rankings as those regionally-ranked foes begin play at 10 a.m. The Centennial Conference match against McDaniel is slated for a 1 p.m. start.
