Comerford Honored as Centennial Softball Player of the Week

HAVERFORD, Pa. – Dayle Comerford has been named the Centennial Conference Softball Player of the Week. He three runs driven in came on her third home run of the season in the bottom of the fifth as she added the final insurance to the Fords' lead. Comerford was a perfect 3-for-3 at the plate in game two, while also being issued the intentional free pass. She scored three runs and drove in the game's opening run in the third inning before later coming around to score.

She ranks fourth all-time with 34 doubles and has 11 home runs and 202 total bases for her career to rank in the top five in both categories.

Those respective doubleheaders will each begin at 3 p.m. Haverford will travel to Franklin & Marshall this Saturday for a doubleheader that is slated to get underway at 1 p.m.
