HAVERFORD, Pa. – Ashley Sisto has been named the Centennial Conference Softball Player of the Week after hitting .583 last week. The Fords went 5-1 between their regularly scheduled doubleheaders and two halted games to earn the first seed and hosting rights for this week's conference tournament.

Sisto scored six runs during the Fords' regularly scheduled games against Ursinus and Franklin & Marshall. Sisto had a run or RBI in every game, including four runs driven in during the victory over Ursinus while driving in two and scoring three more in game two against Franklin & Marshall. Sisto's player of the week nod is the second of her career after she also won this award in 2017 during the Fords' Spring Break trip.

An honorable mention All-Centennial Conference selection during his rookie campaign, Sisto has been at her best during the Fords' conference run as her six doubles and six stolen bases during Centennial play both rank among the top five players in the conference. She is batting .354 against conference opposition while slugging .479 during those CC games.

Sisto and the rest of the Fords will begin their postseason on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. against Swarthmore. Top-seeded Haverford secured home field advantage throughout the conference tournament with Sunday's resumed game victory at Gettysburg.
