Ali Lowe enters her third season as an assistant coach with the Haverford College softball team in 2017. Lowe is a 2014 graduate of Villanova University where she was a four-year starter at shortstop for the Division I Wildcats.

Haverford is coming off of a season in which the Fords won their third Centennial Conference title in program history and advanced all the way to the NCAA Super Regional before falling in a decisive third game. The Fords made history by becoming the first team in conference history to lose the first game of the tournament and run off four straight victories to hoist the conference trophy. Haverford also advanced out of the NCAA Regional draw for the first time in program history despite being grouped with the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the entire country.

While at Villanova, Lowe played in 190 games during her four seasons, making 183 starts. She served as team captain during her senior campaign. She was honor with the NCAS/Scholar Baller National Academic Award recipient after batting .304 with team highs in hits (48), triples (3) and runs (26) during that season.

An NFCA Academic All-American and Big East Academic All-Star, Lowe graduated from Villanova with a major in communications, specializing in media production.
