Why did you choose Haverford?
I chose Haverford because it was the first college that truly felt right when I stepped on campus. Every college has an Honor Code, but Haverford's Honor Code is unlike any other. It attracts students who are extremely motivated but also supportive and accepting. Coming from a competitive high school, this unique intellectual environment was the most appealing factor for me. Also I was intrigued by the smaller class sizes and the better relationships with professors.

What is your favorite team experience?
My favorite team experience has to be last year when our team received an at-large bid to the NCAA tournament. I had been down campus when all of a sudden I received various excited texts from my teammates who had been watching the bid show. I then proceeded to sprint across campus and met up with some of the team on Founders Green, who were all half in tears and screaming about our excitement to continue the season. We then ran to coach's office and all stood there in absolute shock and amazement. The other memories of various slips, trips, singing, dancing, Gluck (Schneck) Cup, competitive soccer tennis, and winning in PKs are all certainly up there as well.

What makes Haverford unique?
Haverford is a small school and people are shocked when they hear that I go to a school with 1,187 students. However the small size of the school and the Honor Code creates a community of caring and supportive individuals who are all there to look out for one another.

What are your thoughts on the Honor Code?
Lots of schools can claim they have Honor Codes, but none can truly compare to the code created by the Bi-Co and Haverford. The power is given to the students to change and uphold the Honor Code as they see fit. As a school like Haverford attracts a certain type of student, the academic atmosphere is supportive and productive. Professors trust and respect their students and this creates an unparalleled educational experience.

What does being a student-athlete mean to you?
Being a student-athlete means getting up early, pushing myself to the limit, and getting out of my comfort zone not for myself, but rather for my teammates and my school. Every time I step on the soccer field is an absolute honor to represent Haverford and to play with my teammates who would do absolutely anything for me.
