HAVERFORD, Pa. - Haverford junior forward Grace Haskell has been named to the Centennial Conference second team, while Phoebe Garfield, Sarah Klink, and Lauren Anderson, were all named Centennial Conference honorable mentions.

The accolades mark the first time since 2019 that the Fords have had four or more players receive All-Conference honors.

The 2023 season was a special one for Haskell, as the junior more than doubled her points from last season, and achieved new career highs in goals, assists, points, shots, and shots on goal. The Middletown, R.I. local ended the year tied for the team lead in goals with five and points thirteen. The junior forward also ranked fifth in the Centennial Conference in total shots with 51. Of the many impressive performances, Haskell most notably had two separate three-point games within a week span against Muhlenberg (Oct. 4) and Ursinus (Oct. 11).

Just like Haskell, Garfield provided an offensive boost to the Scarlet and Black this season, tripling her point total from 2022. The Denver, Colo. native ended the 2023 season with three goals and three assists, totaling nine points. The junior midfielder tied for second on the team in assists with three, placed fourth on the team with three goals, and tied for third on the team in total points with nine. One match to highlight this season for Garfield was October 4 against Muhlenberg, where she found the back of the net twice and totaled four shots.

Joining her junior teammates as award winners is Klink, who also took home All-Conference Honorable Mention honors. The junior captain improved a successful 2022 season by scoring four goals and adding an assist to end 2023 third on the team in goals, and tied for third on the team in points. Hailing from Hereford, Md, the center midfielder was a fixture in the middle of the field, and prominently had a three-point day scoring a goal and dishing an assist in a 7-0 win over Immaculata on September 26.

Claiming an All-conference award for the second year in row, Anderson had quite the season anchoring the defense for the Fords. Hailing from nearby Bala Cynwyd, Pa. area, the defender started all 16 games she appeared in along the backline for the Fords in 2023. Anderson's extraordinary defensive efforts helped the Scarlet and Black achieve five clean sheets and four shutout victories.

Senior captain Sadie Kim garnered a spot on the 2023 Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship Team. The midfielder who calls Madison, N.J. home, played in just three games all season due to injury, but while on the sidelines, displayed the heart, leadership, and compassion needed to be an esteemed captain.

Johns Hopkins forward Katie Sullivan claimed the Centennial Conference's Offensive Player of the Year award, while Swarthmore forward Ava Gizzie picked up the Centennial Conference Rookie of the Year award. McDaniel were honored twice during the announcement, as defender Kiersten Crowley secured Defensive Player of the Year, and the Green Terror Coaching Staff grabbed Coaching Staff of the Year.
