HAVERFORD, Pa. – Greta Koch has been named the Centennial Conference Player of the Week as announced by conference officials. Koch shares the honor with Washington College's Julie Lazer. The honor is the second of Koch's career as she was also named conference player of the week during her freshman season.

Koch was one of just two Haverford players who competed in both singles and doubles during the team's opening match in Florida against Alvernia. The junior took full advantage as she teamed up with team co-captain Abby Payson for an 8-3 win at the No. 1 doubles position. Koch then won the top singles match by a 6-3, 7-5 score. Her two wins helped the Fords roll to a 9-0 victory against the Crusaders.

Playing either No. 1 or 2 singles during her Haverford career, Koch owns a career record of 24-14 early in her junior campaign. She has also recorded a 23-15 mark in doubles with all of her action coming in the top two positions. Both of those winning percentages rank among the top 20 players in program history.

Women's tennis will return to action on Tuesday with a match against regionally-ranked Methodist at 9 a.m.
