HAVERFORD, Pa. – Sophomore women's tennis player Jane Bary has been named to the Centennial Conference All-Sportsmanship team as announced by conference officials. One individual from each team in the conference is chosen for this award on an annual basis.

Joining Haverford for the spring season, Bary made an immediate impact as she won nine matches in singles and was a part of 12 doubles victories. Playing exclusively at No. 4 singles, Bary went 7-1 in Centennial Conference matches this spring and finished her season on a three-match winning streak. In doubles, she teamed up with first year Emily Shutman at the No. 2 pairing. Together, that duo went 8-2 in conference matches. She was also 3-0 when paired with Rory Lewis at No. 3 doubles.

Women's tennis returned to the Centennial Conference playoffs as the No. 4 seed and defeated regionally-ranked Washington College by a 5-1 score in the first round matchup inside the Lutnick Tennis Center. The Fords finished the spring season with a 10-8 record, marking a three match improvement from its win total a season ago. The Fords were making their eighth showing in the Centennial Conference Tournament during the past nine seasons. They have made the semifinal round in all but one of those postseason appearances.
