Coach Louis Bolling completed his fifth year with the Fords in 2015-16.

A graduate of Central High School of Philadelphia, Bolling is a former Division I student-athlete who competed in USTA/Middle States Section and American Tennis Association junior competitions. He is a proud product of the National Junior Tennis League of Philadelphia and the Arthur Ashe Youth Tennis Center.

After earning a Physical Education bachelor’s degree, with a concentration in Sports Administration from Morgan State University, Bolling has coached and managed tennis and education programs domestically and abroad. Currently he is a participant of the NCAA Leadership Institute Class of 2012, a selective program for collegiate athletics executives and administrators. 

Bolling's myriad of achievements include serving as assistant tournament director for a professional women's tournament, managing and coaching junior tennis programs for municipalities, and organizing the South African Primary Schools Tennis Team United States tour in 2009. He also served as development officer for the Gauteng Central Tennis Association (Republic of South Africa).

Coach Bolling has appeared on various media platforms, having served as a South Africa Broadcast Company commentator for the inaugural Soweto Open men's tennis tournament and recently as a writer for the Philadelphia Tribune newspaper.

A Philadelphia Area Tennis District presidential appointee board member, Coach Bolling is also a member of the United States Tennis Association, Professional Tennis Registry, and Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

Awarded a 2011 USTA/ITA Coaches Conference Multicultural Grant, Coach Bolling has embraced being a member of the Haverford community. In addition to his coaching duties, he served as a student advisor and representative of Haverford College at the Consortium for High Achievement and Success' (CHAS) 2011 Conference for Black & Latino Males.

Utilizing tennis to provide memorable and inspiring experiences for student-athletes, on and off the court, is Coach Bolling's hallmark.
