HAVERFORD, Pa. – The Haverford College women's indoor track & field team won six different events and posted 22 scoring performances to highlight a successful day at the McElligott Invitational on Saturday inside the Alumni Field House. Those results helped Haverford place second as a team with 140 points.

The Fords' points were distributed across a variety of events, but they got their highest total in the distance races with seven scoring performances between the mile and 3,000 meter races. Amelia Keyser-Gibson moved into the top 10 in school history with her first place finish in the mile. She crossed the finish line with a time of 5:06.47. That mark converted to 5:03.4 due to track size for NCAA qualification purposes and is currently the 10th fastest time in Division III this season as of press time. Sophie Drew (5:17.29) placed third in the mile, while Jolie Jaycobs (5:40.08) and Amalia Axinn (5:41.53) took home the sixth and seventh place positions.
